TEAM EFFORT FOR ICG PR CLIENT

Congratulations to ICG PR client Twelve Restaurant & Lounge Bar, which is now officially the latest signing at Fleetwood Town FC.

The award-winning Fylde coast restaurant has been selected to provide the match day hospitality, banqueting and conferencing catering at the club's new £4m grandstand at Highbury Stadium.

The new 2,000 seater grandstand is currently under construction and will feature the Parkside Hospitality Suite incorporating seven executive boxes with balcony seating and unrivalled views of the ground alongside an 180-seater function room. The facilities will open for the first time on April 16th and April 25th for the last two Blue Square Bet Premiership games of the current 2010/11 season.

They will also be available for a wide variety of other events such as parties, weddings and family celebrations, business events, conferences and exhibitions.

ICG worked with Twelve to write, design and compile a comprehensive bid document demonstrating Twelve's services and expertise; ICG PR is now working with Twelve and Fleetwood Town FC to create a series of creative and engaging storylines to help promote the new facilities.

National awards work for ICG

Our client BIFA (British International Freight Association) has been organising and hosting the BIFA Freight Service Awards, which recognise excellence and professionalism in various sectors of the logistics industry, for 22 years.

In 2010 they approached the ICG creative team to produce all the marketing collateral they would need to make this year’s competition and ceremony, held on the 20th January 2011, the best yet.

We got to work by creating an original event identity for the ‘call for entries’ brochures, which gave background information on the awards and categories, as well as press advertisements and creatives for the BIFA Awards website.

As the entries flowed in we designed the tickets and produced the programmes for the hugely anticipated luncheon ceremony and sourced and put the finishing touches to the quality crystal trophies.

Whilst the winners were being announced at the Brewery in London, the creative team at ICG were finalising the designs for the post-event press and web advertisements.
The awards, once again, were hailed a success by all and we look forward to working with BIFA on their event promotion and corporate marketing work throughout 2011.

NEW BRANDING STRATEGY FOR ENTERPRISE

ICG’s creative team has rejuvenated Enterprise’s branding to convey its extensive range of services in the utilities and public sector industry.

Working alongside Enterprise’s existing logo, ICG has introduced a clear branding strategy for its print, online and digital formats to convey the company’s vast range of services throughout the UK.

For easy signposting, a suite of icons to illustrate specific services such as gas, water and telecoms has been created alongside freshly designed typographic layouts to help users digest complex and detailed information.

Divisional colour palettes now define different areas of the business from corporate level to corporate responsibility as well the introduction of signature colours for individual divisions.

ICG worked closely with Enterprise to ensure best use of photography and to bring extra pace and vibrancy to the material, silhouette illustrations were introduced for the first time.

The far reaching project included the production of in-depth brand guidelines, which explain how all elements of the Enterprise brand should be presented, providing clear advice for anyone commissioning communication material for external or internal purposes.

The new branding strategy has already been rolled out across a number of publications including the latest Enterprise corporate brochure and website.

Swap January blues for blue skies

The entire team at ICG have been helping client Blackpool International Airport banish the January blues.

We all got involved to announce an exciting new destination from Lancashire’s local Airport with the addition of flights to the beautiful island of Madeira.

Our PR team wrote and distributed an announcement to local and trade press and then tailored the copy for an e-shot, designed by our creative department and sent straight to the inbox of the thousands that have signed up to Blackpool Airport’s database.

So, if you want to swap January blues for blue skies, fly over to www.blackpoolinternational.com and book your seats now.

Graphic Designer Vacancy

Following a number of new account wins, and growth of existing clients, we are now looking to expand our design studio, with a new graphic designer.

The successful candidate will be:

Highly creative and passionate about design, with a desire to produce their best work yet within a fast paced, highly creative environment.

You will probably have around 3-5 year's experience, within an agency, and are looking to step up to the next stage of your career.

The position requires a talented and highly motivated designer, who is confident working on creative campaigns, both individually and as part of a team. Work must encompass both b2b and b2c, and retail experience will be an advantage. Strong typographic skills essential. Web and new media experience also an advantage, but not essential.

Strong communication skills required for direct contact with clients and our suppliers. A degree of project management will be required.

All designers must be highly competent on a Mac, using InDesign predominantly, alongside other CS5 applications.

In short, this is a great role for a designer who wishes to be a key player in driving the agency forward.
