Giving total performance

ICG was tasked by BAE Systems' Military Air & Information business with bringing to life the stories behind seven inspiring individuals who represent the company's core values.

Our designers worked hard to devise a fresh creative solution without compromising corporate brand guidelines to profile seven individuals who demonstrate BAE Systems' key values of being trusted, innovative and bold.

Large scale photography combined with 'in their own words' editorial delivered real pace and impact.

The result? An eye-catching bespoke publication with a clear focus on sharing the stories of BAE Systems’ employees who are ‘Giving total performance’.

Talking Tubes

Issue nine of Yorkshire Copper Tube’s bi-annual newsletter will be hitting the desks of plumbers and merchants across the country in the coming weeks – thanks to the team at ICG.

Since its inception in 2007 ‘Tube Talk’ has grown in popularity, and is now sent to more than 11,000 readers – all of which have specifically requested to receive direct mail from the leading copper tube manufacturer.

As well as writing and designing each edition from scratch, ICG’s marketing experts manage the database to ensure contact details are up to date whilst the PR team publicise the newsletter in targeted trade press.

This summer’s hot read covers a whole host of stories from the appointment key industry figure Neil Overton as Commercial Director to the company’s planned visits to the ever popular Plumbing and Heating Exhibition (PHEX) and its Environmental award success.

To subscribe to Tube Talk simply email your name, business name and address details to paula@icgonline.co.uk.

Really wild day hailed a success!

When two ICG clients came together to host a really wild event for Lancashire families our PR team was on hand to spread the word and bring in the crowds.

We arranged for Blackpool Zoo to take its popular Zoo to You programme to The Mall Blackburn on Sunday 26th June and coverage on the run up included The Daily Telegraph website, Lancashire Telegraph, VisitBlackburn, Lancashireone.com, Click Lancashire and Wherecanwego.com

The event was hailed a huge success and children from across the county queued up for their chance to get hands on with Cyril the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach and learn more about animal artefacts including skulls skeletons and shed skins.

The PR team also arranged the photography and wrote targeted post event pieces aimed at press in the areas surrounding both The Mall Blackburn and Blackpool Zoo.

Tasty Treat for Facebook Fans!

ICG client Twelve Restaurant & Lounge Bar tasked us with increasing the number of fans on its facebook page whilst raising awareness of its mouth-watering midweek market menus.

Our social media experts devised an engagement plan to entice fans to encourage other members of their communities to ‘like’ Twelve’s page and leave a wall post to tell us who recommended them.

The campaign launched this month and, at the end of the month the person who suggested the most friends will win a tasty treat in the form of a meal for two from the midweek market menu.

All the people that they recommended will also be entered into a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning too!
